Those of you that haven't visited the old site, are unaware of the fact that DH and I have added to our family. We brought home a 10 month Newf/Border Collie X a couple of weeks ago. And she is WONDEFUL!!! We named her "Cola" because she is the colour of my most favorite thing....Pepsi! Her and Heidi are the best of friends. I am the happiest doggy mom in the world!! Here are a couple of snaps of the girls.

Nice set of dogs they look like they are tons of fun. We have a new puppy arriving at the end of May. DH hunts with them so we are getting a new English Setter just born the first week of April in Green Bay Wisconsin.

They looked pretty well matched to be good play pals. I wonder if Cola's mix is going to make him very big (like Neuf making keeping the counter surfing training going) and smart (like B.Collie so training is easy). Might be hard to tell as he's still technically a pup, but does he seem to have the energy of the Neuf (low) or Border Collie (high)?

Thanks Gals! Cola ia actually fairly laid back...quite Newf-like. But I do notice when we go to the offleash, she likes to herd little dogs. LOL. I guess she's a perfect blend of both dogs. She does in fact like to steal things off the counter, as well, she chews and digs in the garbage when we leave them home alone. Pretty much all the same issues we had with Heidi...nothing too serious.
They play together quite well, tho Heidi is a little rough with Cola. She is also Cola's protector. When we went to the vet last week, Heidi was nervous (as usual) and actually got between the vet and Cola to keep her safe. They have a wonderful bond already.
You guys know how long DH and I searched for dogs....researching different breeds and whatnot...lucky for us (and them) we found 2 of the best mutts money can buy!!
I just wish we had a bigger place so I could foster for the rescue society we got both of them from. I've got all this love to give....but not enough square footage. Oh well.
